Although another solid performer the Poulan Pro chainsaw has received mixed reviews from consumers.
One consumer who bought it said that at $169 it is better than the Poulan Wild Thing which he bought for $149. Unlike the Poulan Wild Thing that was plagued by starting and overheating problems the Poulan Pro PP4218AVX was a better and faster performer. According to him the PP4218AVX is easy to start and operate and is also fuel efficient. He found the machine solid enough that it could tear through wood without a stagger. Although a stand up chainsaw the Husqvarna 235 has received mixed reviews from consumers/users.
For one consumer the Husqvarna 235 was his first chainsaw which he kept for almost a year. According to him it could cut small branches (3-4″ in diameter) quite well but he had to struggle with bigger ones. Later he upgraded to a Stihl MS 250. He did not speak highly about the Husqvarna 235.

He reasoned that irrespective of the brand any chainsaw with less than 45 cc displacement and 3 HP will not be able to cut through a log or tree of reasonable size.
